LAweekly people issue CONTEST

ZIPPERCUT is featured in this week’s LAweekly people issue! They have six different covers and my sillyness is on one of them! Anyhow, inside there’s a huge picture of my face (see above).  I was thinking most of my friends/foes would be doing this already so may as well involve everyone and make a contest out of it.   Get your own copy and deface it however you want and the most superb/creative entry gets $100 cash prize.  You can do it with the cover picture too but the face picture is more fun for… em. obvious reasons… but whichever, suprise us.  Send the images to zippercut@gmail.com . Contest ends next Thursday April 30th.  Winner will be annouced May 1st.  I will post the better ones for all to enjoy.

Last week my friend sent me the link and I bookmarked it and forwarded it to my friend list since it’s hilarious in that vice dos and don’ts way. Today, Derrick Gomez and I are on it. HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA.

You might have noticed the new ZIPPERCUT flash intro for our site! It’s the work of Rion Suarez from Scout Design.  Check out this other site he did for makeup artist Angel Wen. 

Lasik and JCVD all in one day!

I am writing this post free of glasses or contacts! Dr. Lee is an awesome physician who is reasonably priced (I didn’t know until I researched Lasik doctors that Yelp rates doctors also). They numb your eye and prop it open then they cut your cornea and somehow everything goes black (that is a tad creepy how you’re unable to see with your eyes wide open). But enough about eye surgery, after my 4 hour nap we hurried over to see JCVD (Jeac Claude Van Damme!) at the Nuart in Santa Monica. Okay to be honest I was unstoked for this movie but I ended up watching as much as my eyes could handle because it was awesome! I laughed soo much! I know it’s silly but he speaks French throughout the entire movie and for some reason he becomes a more legitimate actor.
